Backyard Obsession

Wing Snob began in 2012 when founder Marcus Reid spent every weekend experimenting with wing sauces in his Warren, Michigan backyard. Friends and neighbors couldn't get enough — they kept coming back for that perfect balance of heat, tang, and crunch that Marcus had perfected over years of passionate cooking.

In 2013, Marcus opened the first Wing Snob location on Van Dyke Ave. What started as a 10-table eatery quickly became a neighborhood institution. By 2018, Wing Snob had expanded its sauce lineup to over 20 flavors — from the fiery Ghost Pepper Fury to the crowd-pleasing Honey Butter Garlic. Today, we serve thousands of wing lovers every week, never compromising on quality or that signature crunch.

2012

The Backyard Beginnings

Founder Marcus Reid perfects his first three wing sauces — Classic Buffalo, Honey Garlic, and Lemon Pepper — through dozens of backyard cookouts attended by growing crowds of fans in Warren, MI.

2013

Wing Snob Opens Its Doors

The first Wing Snob location opens on Van Dyke Ave with 10 tables and 8 flavors. Lines form within the first week. Local media calls it "the wing spot Warren didn't know it needed."

2015

Expanding the Flavor Lab

Wing Snob launches its in-house Sauce Lab, expanding the menu to 15 signature flavors. The Ghost Pepper Fury sauce wins a regional hot food competition and goes viral on local food blogs.

2018

Catering & Community Growth

Wing Snob launches its catering division and signs its first corporate catering contract. The menu grows to 20+ flavors. Wing Snob wins "Best Wings in Metro Detroit" at the annual Detroit Food Awards.

2021

Online Ordering & Delivery

Wing Snob launches online ordering and partners with major delivery platforms, bringing its legendary wings to customers across Metro Detroit. Monthly orders triple within six months of launch.

2024

Franchise Program Launches

Wing Snob officially opens its franchise program, allowing passionate entrepreneurs to bring the Wing Snob experience to new communities. The future of bold wings is just getting started.
